NBA Announces Weekly Best Players: Wembanyama and Herro Selected, Doncic, Kawhi, Edwards Among Nominees

On March 10 Beijing time, the NBA officially announced the Week 20 Players of the Week. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was selected as the Western Conference Player of the Week, marking his third career weekly award and his second this season. Heat star Tyler Herro was selected as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, his second career weekly honor.

Western Conference Player of the Week: Victor Wembanyama

Last week, Wembanyama averaged 26 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.8 blocks per game, leading the Spurs to a 4-0 record.

Against the 76ers, he recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 6 blocks; against the Pistons, he posted 38 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 blocks; against the Clippers, he contributed 27 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 4 blocks; against the Rockets, he scored 29 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 4 blocks.
