Quach Quang Huy, Le Thang Long, and Nguyen Quoc Toan are the three subsequent names called up to U23 Vietnam.
PVF CAND Youth Club recently announced that Quach Quang Huy, Le Thang Long, and Nguyen Quoc Toan have been included in the call-up list for U23 Vietnam during the late March training camp. Thus, up to now, a total of 21 players have been confirmed by clubs for the first 2026 training session.
Previously, Ninh Binh Club announced that the trio Tran Thanh Trung, Le Van Thuận, and Nguyen Le Phát are among those named in the U23 Vietnam squad for the first training session of 2026. PVF CAND also confirmed three players called up: Thai Ba Dat, Nguyen Bao Long, and Nguyen Anh Tuấn.
Earlier, many clubs have successively confirmed their players being summoned to U23 Vietnam. Blue Steel Nam Dinh Club announced midfielder Ta Xuan Truong will join this training session. This is a relatively new name as the player has not debuted in the senior team and remains unfamiliar to fans.
Hanoi FC also has two representatives called up: goalkeeper Pham Dinh Hai and center-back Nguyen Canh Tai. Meanwhile, SLNA contributed five players including goalkeeper Cao Van Binh, defender Le Nguyen Hoang, forward Le Dinh Long Vu, and two midfielders Nguyen Quang Vinh and Nguyen Trong Tuấn. Except for Trong Tuấn being a newcomer, the remaining players have previously been called up to U23 Vietnam multiple times.
Additionally, HAGL also has two players in the list: Dinh Quang Kiệt and Nguyen Minh Tam. Center-back Dinh Quang Kiệt, nearly 2 meters tall, has been summoned multiple times by coach Kim Sang Sik in 2025 but hasn't had opportunities to feature in major tournaments like SEA Games or AFC U23 Asian Cup. Furthermore, Bac Ninh FC has one representative, Nguyen Trong Son, and recently Quang Ninh Club confirmed midfielder Tran Hai Anh has been called up.
Thus, up to now, 21 players have been announced by clubs to join the U23 Vietnam training camp in late March. This list is expected to be further supplemented as the coaching staff continues to review young talents for long-term objectives.
According to the plan, U23 Vietnam will assemble in Hanoi from March 17 to prepare for the CFA Team China – Xi'an 2026 International Football Tournament held from March 25 to 31 in China. The tournament involves four teams: U23 Vietnam, U23 China, U23 Thailand, and U23 North Korea, playing a single round-robin. This is considered an important opportunity for young players to gain experience, aiming to prepare the squad for the 2026 Asian Games.
