OFFICIAL: Văn Hậu recalled to the Vietnam National Team

The list of Vietnam National Team players for the late March training camp has been revealed, with the first 8 names including Văn Hậu.

CAHN Club just announced that 8 players from the club will be called up to the Vietnam National Team for the late March training camp. Besides familiar names like Filip Nguyễn, Lê Phạm Thành Long, Bùi Hoàng Việt Anh, Quang Anh, Pendant Quang Vinh, Lê Văn Đô, there are two notably notable returns: Đình Trọng and Văn Hậu.

Fans have waited a long time to see Văn Hậu return in the Vietnam National Team jersey. All wishes have been fulfilled as the 1999-born defender has fully recovered from injury and delivered impressive performances wearing the CAHN jersey. With Văn Hậu's return, the left flank of the Vietnam National Team will be very strong, and Coach Kim Sang Sik will also face a tough choice deciding who starts, as he now has Văn Vĩ, Pendant Quang Vinh, and Văn Hậu simultaneously. It is also possible that Văn Hậu could be deployed as a left-sided center-back to utilize his physique and attacking initiation ability.

After a long period sidelined, the 27-year-old defender stated his physical condition has significantly improved and he aims to play more matches: "Hậu's current condition is very good, and Hậu needs to keep training to improve further, always moving forward.
